And if firmware updated when next version comes out, what happens?

Edit: Looks like you fixed it on page 1 of this thread?

Also it would be nice to have the remove files/directories performed after everything is working.

In case of upgrades you just need to redo the remove and linkage (rm/ln commands).
Actually the commands can just be added in an executable script and leave it on your HDD so you can re-execute after each update.

Almost but no cigars.

I created the missing directory and was able to start the web.sh file. Went into the application at :8000, configured download files, etc.

Went to add the last two lines:

/usr/local/etc/newsbin/startnzbget.sh start
/usr/local/etc/newsbin/startweb.sh start

to the RCS file.

RCS file was not located at the usr/local directory. It is in the usr/local/etc/ directory.

Power off and on reboot. Stuck at the pivos loading screen. can not get back into unit. Looks like a panic flash....

- Thanks for the correction, fixed that on the guide.
- For the stuck boot, chances are rcS got corrupted one way or the other, how are you editing the rcS file ? I would notepad++ on your PC and push the file back using FTP or something similar.

I used word pad and d/l from the AIOS to my desk top. Edited it, saved it, pushed back to AIOS.

I have it working but have not added 2 lines to the rcS file. I really don't want to reflash, etc., again. I've spent too much time on this as it is. I've attached the rcS file. I d/l and installed Notepad++. I FTP'd the rcS file from the AIOS to my desk top. I edited the rcS file in Notepad++ and saved it. That is what is attached. Look at it and see if there is any corruption. I can't see anything wrong with it. If it looks good to you I'll push it back to the AIOS via FTP and try it again.

Now to figure out this NZB app. Have been using one but its a stand alone. Would have been faster of course to reconfigure it to d/l to the AIOS hard drive, or the NAS. But not nearly as cool...

Now the AIOS won't shut all the way off. Goes part way, blue light stays on and doesn't go to red.

I gave up. Had more lockups, weirdness. Thinking the nzbget application is pushing the AIOS hardware to and past its limits/design.

How many connections have you set nzbget for ? its more of trial and error but I found that stability is maintained with something between 5~10 connections (depends on what else you are running on the box of course)

I didn't even get there. I had 2 other lockups. Also could not FTP back into the AIOS. Said it was rejecting the connection. Video stalls, etc., and I wasn't even attempting a download.

Just seemed like the AIOS was not up to the task. It simply isn't powerful enough.
