Resolved: HDD related question

Postby bmontana33 » July 24th, 2012, 8:57 am

Hello all,

I'm currently in the process of converting my full rips into iso's for the srjg jukebox, and I've come across 2 files that are problematic. They won't convert becuase something is wrong with the files (one of the folders are actually empty), so before re-ripping them I tried to delete them from my pivos internal hdd (3 tb western digital green) and i get an error message:

Error 0x80070091: The directory is not empty

I've tried researching it online and haven't found any solutions that are working and I know there are some pretty tech savy individuals on this forum that might be able to help. Incase it matters I'm running windows 7. Thanks for any advise.

Have you tried connecting the box directly to your PC (USB) and deleting the files ?

What about removing the file directly from the AIOS file manager then ?

Navigate to problem folder using the file browser and then push the green button. Good luck.

Didn't realize to push the green button. Thanks, however that didn't work. Message comes up "delete failed. Failed! Press ok to browse files"

If your using filezilla you can check check the permissions of the file and delete from there. Good luck.

I appreciate the help. I finally fixed the problem. It turns out that there were bad sectors on the hdd, I scanned and fixed any bad sectors and then I was able to delete the 2 files in question, and now I just need to re-rip those 2 movies. Thanks again.
