Over the last couple of weeks I've had to reset my router a couple of times and noticed that the AIOS has had issues picking up the shares again unless I've rebooted it following the router reset. Or maybe I've just been a bit too quick trying to access them, anyway just an observation.

I have the AIOS mapped on my laptop and the share sometimes doesn't seem to renew after a router reboot. This isn't a big deal I just thought it was something that should be borne in mind when network issues rear their head.

mmm ... I have noticed that when my NFS folder are empty this would be because of delayed execution of the mounting script (for one reason or the other) which is usually remedied by going out of NFS folder then back in.
Now for disappearing mapped drive, are you using the AIOS name or IP for the mapping ?
