I have noticed that my AIOS is very sensitive to the order in which things are switched on in the network. Over the last couple of weeks I've had to reset my router a couple of times and noticed that the AIOS has had issues picking up the shares again unless I've rebooted it following the router reset. Or maybe I've just been a bit too quick trying to access them, anyway just an observation.

Do you mean shares mapped through the share shortcut scripts ?

Yes, although I have noticed the AIOS disappearing from windows explorer in these conditions too. I have the AIOS mapped on my laptop and the share sometimes doesn't seem to renew after a router reboot. This isn't a big deal I just thought it was something that should be borne in mind when network issues rear their head.

mmm ... I have noticed that when my NFS folder are empty this would be because of delayed execution of the mounting script (for one reason or the other) which is usually remedied by going out of NFS folder then back in.

Now for disappearing mapped drive, are you using the AIOS name or IP for the mapping ?

Interesting question, the AIOS does not show up in the windows network pane in explorer, but I can access it by typing \\AIOS in the address bar or indeed \\192.168.1.194 (AIOS IP obv,). My connected share is \\AIOS\c

I think its windows related, I don't have my AIOS mapped, but on my HTPC about 10% of the times my NAS'es (all 3 of them) disappear at random order, and on my net-top I could never see anything under "network" (Win7 Pro x64 on both machines), I never bothered double checking (apparently related to network discovery) because mapped drives using the IP address always worked.

A request for the next update guys:

The SRJG jukebox seems to require a network connection even though my internal hdd has all the files needed to build the database. When I clicked 'rebuild', it would flash 'no network connection' and not do the work. Thankfully I do have the wifi dongle and connected it, and all worked well, but I fail to see why a network connection is necessary to build the database when there is no imbd settings on.
