Everything related to running XBMC for Linux on XIOS DS
Has anyone tried running a TV Headend server on these linux builds?
The Raspberry Pi is able to handle the server quite well (although several bugs are still being worked out). The only thing I'm unsure of is the mpeg4 license needed on RPi and if we would also need it on these boxes.
I might having a go at pulling the tvheadend source and see if I can get any results later - anyone else already had a look?

I'm using TVHeadend. Both the server and the client seem to have some stability issues. But if you use the latest tvheadend (from git) and the latest xbmcpvr plugins (also from git, but semi difficult to get baked into a xios image) it works well enough. On certain channels I still have audio/video sync issues, but haven't been looking too hard for solutions to that yet.
My latest custom image has the latest xbmcpvr plugins BTW (as well as a custom xbmc merge that is later than RC3), you can check it out if you're so inclined: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5qnB72 ... JPMjg/edit
