Resolved: XBMC Has Stopped Working

Postby King Kong » January 17th, 2013, 10:38 pm

Hello
I just upgraded to the latest firmware and have rebooted the device. I've re-established my network connection, but when I start XBMC I get an error message; "Unfortunately, XBMC has stopped". How can I resolve this? :o

You need to upgrade XBMC as well (to 010813)
And be sure to uninstall older XBMC first
If that didn't work simply boot again into recovery and clear cache/user data/factory reset
You will lose all existing apps that way so you might want backup first using TitaniumBackup

XIOS XBMC: Setup, Nightlies: M1 - M3 - Android - Keep the annoying XIOS developers happy, always attach a log with your bug report, here is how.

You need both
ICS 010813: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=669
XBMC 010813: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=847
You can get into recovery using the pinhole trick as described here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=669#p10706
