Yeh you said the stock is 110 to 220

But it's really 100-240v

Why did you say that better

Because it has wider range.
The adapter is universal, as a matter of fact the common wall output is 110v for north america and 220v about everywhere else.
The extended range on the adapter just means it can handle minor voltage fluctuations without harming the device its powering.

Ok cool stuff

I think uk s 230v

A electrician I was having a talk with on the phone. Mentioned that itis not safe using an converter with this adaptor

Some have even mentioned not to use that adaptor at all in the uk. Because its not safe as its not a uk plug and has 2 pins

Some have said to buy a replacement lead altogether what are your thoughts

Man about half the modern world uses non grounded prongs for low power devices, you think if it was not supposed to be used in the UK then it wouldn't have been authorized to be sold in Amazon.uk ..

Any way its up to you, once you receive the box you can replace the whole adapter if you like (just match plug size and polarity of the adapter).

Check the UK user reviews (and this is for just this single adapter not considering similar products) ..

What do you mean make sure plug size is right. You mean the bit which goes into the the box end? The head of the adaptor btw what size is that

Also with amazon stuff there is adapters on that are unsafe and still bieng sold some have even caused a fire on the electrical safety website it say not to use adapters for long use

So what was that about amazon authorising stuff I would not trust amazon
