Re: SRJG Movie Jukebox for the AIOS

New owner .. first post .. I have th R21 firmware .. like the prior post
"I have semiofficial R21 installed, but I see no jukebox in the left hand side menu."

So I made the change .. couple of questions ..

Why does my menus use some background with (hard to read icon) pictures compared to the youtube videos shown in OP?

If I add a new TV episode -- whats the process to view it? Do I really have to regen the jukebox each time?

At this point I have 20 or so TV episodes, nothing shows with SRJG jukebox menu but they all show using the VideoLib.

The files are locally stored on a 2TB harddrive in the box.

Thanks for the help

Go to Setup -> Customization -> GUI 3.0 -> Disable.

SRJG is not made for TV shows, that said you can create a jukebox per each show, you don't need to "rebuild" the jukebox but you will need to switch to the jukebox you want and load it.

At this point I have 20 or so TV episodes, nothing shows with SRJG jukebox menu but they all show using the VideoLib.

You will need to build the jukebox first before you can see your media, that said, given you have the TV episodes on your HDD and given that SRJG will only allow one tv show per jukebox, I would either use VideoLib or the filemanager to navigate and run them.

Pardon my ignorant newbie question, but what exactly is the benefit and advantage of having jukebox vs what I have now which is a simple movie wall with thumbs for all movies and info/synopsis for the movies? My current setup seems simple enough yet very informative, accessed via yellow and blue buttons on the remote. Should I bother with jukebox? Will it give me something really valuable I don't already have? Appreciate any feedback.

Its all about presentation, Jukebox allows you to access your media based on : Genre, IMDB rating, Year (beside the default alphabetical order).
If this makes no special difference for you (I know it doesn't for many :) ), then you don't need to bother yourself with setting jukeboxes. Especially given that modded cover mode allows you to do alphabetical search and to access media by its order (numeric).

When I select the path to my movies and hit "play" to validate it, it doesn't change from /tmp/usbmounts/sdb1/

What gives? Am I doing it wrong???

Check the first video on the OP, you should go up till you reach /tmp, then down to usbmount -> sda1 -> movies (sda1 is your c:), once you are inside movies press play button.

I just set up the SRJG movie jukebox using the imbd autoscapping. It seems working as long as I have the proper movie names and years. Here is my problem (or question): I can no longer find my contents under file manager. The folders for the movies are there but they are all empty! Any ideas?

Press options on the file manager and make sure the filter is set to "ALL"
